Meet our Team
Gareth Wild
Managing Director
Gareth Wild Managing Director and Owner of Rural Training Solutions NZ has a unique understanding of the day-to-day life of rural New Zealand and the increasing need for industry specific training.
Having started his journey on his parent’s orchard and market garden, to being a share milker, contractor, workshop & fleet manager, health and safety officer and most recently working alongside Primary ITO to support the development of their unit standard based vehicle micro credentials.
Gareth’s industry background has provided him with the practical experience to teach his students not only safe work practices, but also how to adapt to situations when things go wrong.
Amy Abbott
Director
Amy Abbott is co-owner of Rural Training Solutions NZ. A Registered Nurse by profession Amy had dedicated her career to supporting people and their families who struggle with mental health.
Amy is keen to transfer her passion to the training sector, supporting her staff, students and delivering courses that promote mental wellbeing in the rural sector.
